help with my 3g huawei

[wakka wakka]

every time i try connect it goes tells me that there's an error, and a connection could not be established. it says"A connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection was closed ". it then tells me to search for the error number provided, but no error number is given. this started about a week ago, out of nowhere.
does anyone know whats going on?

theres like 70cents or sumin. but i still have about 100mb of data left in it.

I had the same problem.
Unplug.
Go to control panel.
Add and remove.
Remove s/ware.
Re-install.

tries uninstalling, didnt work.

There used to be a limitation that you had to have a minimum of R1 on the SIM, so it's worth a try.

I'll ask tomorrow if it's still the case.

huawei ec500 problem

hello folks
i have the same problem
since two or three weeks i am discovering the unability to connect with my huawei modem
we are using three people the same modem and the problem persist only on my computer (win xp proff)
i tryied to reinstall hundrets of times in several ways and without success
i am not really in the mood of reinstalling the OS

ps: i did cleaned the registry as well

2 things firstly this happens from time to time with the device and the way to fix is do a complete un-install the restart and do re-install,it can take up to 3 tries at time but it will work,in my opinion i think this problem is driver authentication related.
