Before I connect with my USB modem, it shows (under Mobile Partner software) the connection as WCDMA. When I actually connect it goes to HSDPA, then after some time back to WCDMA and then later even further down to GPRS.
Eventually it just becomes so slow, I mercifully have to kill it by unplugging the USB modem and follow the above process all over again.
This happen over a period of 10-20 minutes, sometimes less, sometimes more.
I have already as suggested by someone else changed my DNS settings to a google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)
