I have a device on my home network that is detected on my Zyxel modem. Its identified as "HF-LPD130". It does have an ip address on the same range as my other devices.I have googled it,it appears to be some kind of wifi device BUT the only wifi devices that transmit are my Zyxel router and my Inverter lithium box which i can connect to with an app on my phone.
Any ideas?

TIA

Looking up the device name, it comes up as SoC microcontroller. Probably what you connecting to inside the inverter you mentioned. Can you check IP address of the inverter in the app?

What’s the MAC address then you can look up the vendor.

More than likely an ESP chip in the inverter’s WiFi dongle.

When i turn off the inverter battery box it doesnt disappear from the network??so surely it cant be the inverters wifi dongle??

Need to unplug the wifi dongle or totally switch off the whole inverter. Switch off the battery means the inverter still have power

Ok so ive discovered its the WiFi dongle on my lithium battery pack(I suspected it was this)
I found a forum post in a .com site where a user was trying to connect his lithium battery pack named "HF-LPD130" to an app on his phone.
Thanks all for assistance
