Are you using an external DVD drive?

no
normal internal DVD drive.. normal DVD with Windows 7 on it

Umm... how do I take a screen shot with no OS installed??

Wait you launching the installation from the DVD. Ah I thought you were launching it from another Windows OS.

DVD Drivers:confused: is the drive Sata by any chance>?

After it ask me for language n whatever... it says loading and then it pops up
took pics with my phone... this is what it looks like:1 2

I dont know what drive it is.. all I know is that it is LG :)

try copying the drivers needed by your drive on the hard disk and when it asked just select the location? Happend to my windows xp's with sata drives :)

www.google.co.za enter "drive name+ for windows 7" I'm not using w7 atm so I'm not sure but that is a common xp/vista error.
Because the drive comes with basic IRQ instructions and drivers for windows xp and maybe vista the advance stuff for w7 is new so maybe thats why?

You are all wrong. It ain't picking up his HDDs. You running raid or something? You need to load the driver for the control on which your HDDs are connected.

i installed it on my 2xraptors running in raid 0..with no drivers & works 100%..get better performance if you install the drivers though!

ok... I have 1HDD, 1DVD... both in NORMAL config... I installed Vista 2 weeks ago with no problem like this. I have downloaded the "drivers" for my DVD drive and will try this all tomorrow as ihave school now and busy later on
Thanks and I will report back to you guys.

Sounds like the DVD drive is a SATA. Check the motherboard manufacturer's website for the drivers.

I'm going to install this tomorrow..hopefully no problems
