Hi guys

a friend has just bought a 4 Mbit line from Telkom, but he has a 384 data account with Mweb. Is their a way for him to achieve 4 Mbit speeds without upgrading to a 4 Mbit data account? he preferably wants to use NZB and torrents

no, line speed and account speeds are 2 parts of the equation, if he want a 4mbit data, he needs to upgrade, no way around it.

i doubt it as MWeb will shape you to 384 coz you do not want to pay them more.
