Damn stubborn Israelis again won't compromise or give an inch. Never a fair deal with them is there
 
Alan... would you attribute the war in Israel/Palestine as a Religious one or a Political one or both?

What do you think about Israel not having much support from Jews world wide?

They have most! Not all but most. A source would be nice though.
Now after swapping all those terrorist prisoners for two fallen soldiers I will expect an increase in attacks from Hezbollah.
 
Sorry I am capped pretty badly. I was listening to an interview with Arthur Miller and he claims that the support amongst Jews in the US of Israel is not much. Apparently the main support of Israel comes from the conservative right Christians.

Very interesting actually.

Yes and thats why just over or just under 50% of Jews live in Israel :rolleyes:, because they do not support it. Of the rest living outside of Israel a large percentage are supporters.

even the jewish people of Israel will tell you that their leaders are the real terrorists. But i also dont accept what Al-Qaeda and other Islamic groups do, who kill the innocent.
 
I personally believe that this is a religious issue. Even worth debating in PD. I strongly disagree with the violence either way.

All that I was trying to get across is that unlike the Muslims universal support of Palestine. Jews are fragmented and largely don't concern themselves with the political maneuverings of Israel.

I think the biggest issue is religion. It is the prime engine behind the madness.

Christians being just as big a role player.

if the religion is to blame, why has no south african muslim bombed ANYTHING or for that matter act in a violent way for anything else ?

EDIT: 'we' are firm believers of Islam, and 'we' are practising muslims

Have you never heard of PAGAD? They bombed gay night clubs, went killing sinners and burning drug dealers' homes.... and all of this in Cape Town.

yeah i conveniently forgot about the PAGAD. Fair enough, they were 'so calledly' muslims doing it. Although their cause was good, they approached it in a wrong/bad way. I must say, they started off pretty well (no violence whatsover) and it started getting out of control. Thats why they were stopped and exist no more.

But then you say ..

OK so you mentioned the PAGAD doing what they did to make a better and cleaner CT, but did any S.A muslim do anything violent when the West started a war against Islam ? Did any muslim do anything violent when the Danish printed those cartoons ?

If you failed to realise by now, only countries that do not have any mentallity are commiting these horrific crimes. Do you see any UAE citizens bombing up ? Any Saudi citizen bombing up ? any S.African, Autralian,(Besides UK) other Europian citizens,USA ?

As intelligent as you are, you are a fool to believe Islam is to blame for all that is happening. Before America staged the 9/11 , none of this existed.
