Got both a 7" and 10".
And so over iOS. Had an iPad 2, 3 and 4. No thanks. Android on a Nexus 10 - and cheaper - FTW.

Correct, definitely a monetary saving however the focus of the article is on the increasing price of tech across the board. So buying something cheaper doesn't address the problem long term.
