Hijacker kills accomplice

Johannesburg - A hijacker was accidentally shot dead by his accomplice in Durban on Friday evening, Netcare 911 said.

It was initially reported that the murdered man was a bystander.

Netcare spokesperson Jeff Wicks said a woman was on her way to a party when two hijackers approached her.

"A man who saw what was happening came to the woman's aid and there was a scuffle. A shot went off and one hijacker was hit in the head."

The man died at the scene while the accomplice ran off.

The woman and the man were not hurt.

So wait a minute, how come he was an accomplice if he came to her aid?

And why is that bad karma? You mean he should not have helped her. In the end the bad guy made off while the hijacker who did the right thing died.

Is that karma?

That sort of concept of karma sucks. The Hindus want it back.

Thats right up the road from me. Drove past the scene yesterday. One thing I don't get is that right next to the scene was a bunch of people having a party. So lucky for that lady that people were actually looking outside when it happened.

Mind you this is a busy road and I'm surprised that hijackers would dare go there as it is right between lots of flats and people walking their dogs. These hijackers have no fear :/ Its quite scary.

A slightly more logical conclusion is that the "man who saw what was happening" wrestled the gun away and played Karma with the one hijacker.

No peter the guy came to her rescue, there was a fight between him and the 2 would be hijackers, a gun went off and one of the hi jackers got a hack head shot :D

Terrible grammar in that article. So ambiguous.

I did not see any grammatical errors, nor did I find it confusing...

2 hijackers came to steal a woman's car. Another man saw what was happening and ran to the woman's aid and a fight broke out, this resulted in a shot being fired, and the bullet just so happened to have found it's way into the unarmed (I'm assuming) hijackers head.
