Hit & Run caught on camera, causes massive accident....

Tshwane Metro Police Department's Isaac Mahamba could not confirm if action would be taken against the motorist who attempted to flee the scene.
Why?

Well, at the very least, the occupants of the bakkie have a very solid claim against the Road Accident Fund.

This dude still has the audacity to apologize to the guy with his dash cam and then drives off as nothing happened ? WTF ??
All those dudes who blocked him off _ Give them a Bells :D

That guy was lucky he wasn't blocked by a Ford Kuga.

Was the one guy pointing a firearm after he stopped him?
The guy in the white amarock?

Wouldn't that be illegal?

Yes, it is completely legal considering the circumstances. The hit 'n run driver ostensibly used his vehicle as an instrument to commit a crime against the bodily integrity of the occupants in the bakkie, and I say ostensibly because we are not able to determine his culpability nor intention. Assuming that he was culpable but negligent (e.g. texting while driving) then at best the charge is reckless & negligent driving (up to 15 years in prison). But leaving the accident scene, particularly after he just fishtailed the bakkie makes it a whole lot more serious -- possibly attempted murder with aggravating circumstances.

I do not think that he had a firearm, but if I was in his shoes, mine would have been out and pointed.

He'll need a good lawyer. On second thoughts, the prosecution these days is so pathetic that a mediocre one will do.

go to bed...you need your intelligent sleep

:)
Still have a RAF claim from 2012.

Having run a RAF claim business for 4 years, I can reassure you this is NOT the US of A where stuff works like its supposed to, this is South Africa.

Goes without saying, 8 years was figuratively.
