It does seem odd that first cases of AIDS only surfaced in america in the 80's. Aids basically exploded over night and perhaps it is because we never had the tech to identify it earlier or perhaps the first cases were in africa but it does seem odd that the first aids patients were gay. Why was aids not picked up earlier?

Various animal viruses were pumped into different species of animals and into all sorts of cell cultures. This experimentation was undertaken to find, create, and develop new cancer-causing and immunosuppressive viruses. It is these species-jumping laboratory primate viruses that are the source of "human" immunodeficiency virus (HIV) - not the animals in the wild in Africa.

Basically humans are the reason AIDS exists, whether is was a covert operation to kill all the blacks or just a bad bad mistake that is the conspiracy i guess.
 
It was first noticed in the gay community, because in the States at the time, there was an enormous gay rights movement, and for the first time, the American homosexuals could live their lives and be sexually free, like never before.

This led to a lot of unprotected sex and multiple partner relationships, which led to a tremendous amount of AIDS cases, which is why it was noticed.

At the time there was a tremendous drive to keep it a 'gay disease' but luckily science won the day, and the only people who assert connections with homosexuals and AIDS in a way that is different from heterosexual transmission, are the same idiots who think AIDS is a plague from god and/or are anti-science fruitcakes.

This has already been explained in this thread though...

AIDS was picked up in Africa earlier, it was known as 'slim disease', it was simply just not known what it was at the time.

Americans have been told repeatedly that HIV/AIDS is the first time a monkey virus has jumped species to cause a new epidemic called AIDS. But the rarely-publicized truth is that a cancer-causing monkey viruses jumped species a half century ago when contaminated polio vaccines were given to millions of people on the planet, including half the U.S. population of that era.

In the early 1960's it was discovered that some lots of polio vaccines manufactured on rhesus monkey kidney tissue during the period 1955 to 1963 were contaminated with a monkey virus called SV40 (Simian[monkey] virus #40). This primate virus was quickly proven to cause various cancers in experimental animals. However, to this day, U.S. government officials still insist there is no absolute proof that SV40 causes human cancer.

Ok so some Americans traveled to africa got infected but never had unprotected sex and then boom AIDS explode when they were free to have unprotected anal sex. Sounds very far fetched to me.

So the earliest known case of AIDS was in 1955 right around the time of the contaminated vaccine's.

AIDS first erupted in gays living in New York City in 1979 a few months after the experiment began in Manhattan. The astounding and statistically significant fact is that 20% of the gay men who volunteered for the hepatitis B experiment in New York were discovered to be HIV-positive in 1980 (a year before AIDS became "official" in 1981). This would mean that Manhattan men had the highest incidence of HIV anywhere in the world, including Africa, the supposed birthplace of HIV and AIDS. The fact is that definite, proven cases of AIDS in Africa would not appear until 1982.

Possibly some guy had sex with a monkey. They hunt them for food, so it's plausible. The first Western guy to spread it was supposed to be an air steward, so that makes sense too.
 
It is a terrible disease but honestly there is no need for all the conspiracy theory quackery people. Be rational about it.

Am I the only one that read this impressive list of wonderful rational human beings known for telling the truth that have nothing to lose by hopping on every anti-West bandwagon they can regardless of how fscking stupid it is that all hold/held PhDs in Virology and laughed my ass off?
