Hi I have a lcd screen and it has hdmi rca etc but no tv compnent, do you get an hdmi mnet decoder, because i dont want dstv , i only watch a little tv like Carte blanch and the cartoons. Can anyone help me. I currently use a Comcrypt 4000I it has RF connectors and Scart. RCA or HMDI would be excellent.
:)

You don't get an MNET decoder with HDMI, well, at least not yet....and remember the old MNET decoders will no longer work as SA is moving over to Digital Terrestrial TV

If the decoder has SCART, then get a SCART-to-RCA adapter - got mine from Builder's Warehouse for around R40 a few years back. The bonus is that it has a switch to work both ways...
They look like this:

Or look for a SCART with the cable RCA's, like this:

nope no mnet only HDMI decoder, just the 2 HDPVR out ther anyway i was checking the freaking subscription for mnet alone is like 300 bucks and dstv premium with xtraview is R560 might as well spen the extra if you want HD
