Just some feedback on the Sonoff DW1 Door & Window alarm RF sensors... I installed one on my garage door and paired it with my RF Bridge. The setup was very simple. It doesn't do what I hoped but it was still worth the money.

My intention was to be able to check the open/closed status of the garage door and hopefully integrate with IFTTT and Alexa, but unfortunately IFTTT does not support the Sonoff RF bridge.

The way the RF sensors work, is they only activate and send a signal when the door is opened. It's cool getting a notication when the door is opening. But It is not possible to check the open/closed status or get a notification when the door is closing.

I found another way though.

Create email trigger if Motion is detected
Create trigger if email is received (from yourself) to switch on lights

This takes about 1-2 minutes from Motion Detection to switching on lights which could actually seems like a manual switch to tsotsis.

Why not use a smart door sensor? That way it tells you when opened and not - and the status. About R350 delivered.

Finally starting to understand Grafana - need to find more interesting things to report on though:

I could understand one R2 giving an issue - but it's highly unlikely it's both.

Will have to check with ITEAD.
