Home Automation - Smartkit

Sometimes you want to kick yourself....

Code:
utility_meter:
  daily_energy:
    source: sensor.sensor_geyser_total_power
    cycle: daily
  monthly_energy:
    source: sensor.sensor_geyser_total_power
    cycle: monthly

So bloody obvious when you look at it with a comparative eye.

I do expect the config check to actually highlight this kind of stuff, but I guess that's too much to ask.

I would rather then stick with Sonoff if they dont co-op so well.

Can I buy one of the T4's assume you will be getting more stock ?

Will they fit on a normal 2x4 box ?

PM me shipping details.

They're actually EU fit 86cmx86cm. Hopefully US/AU is on the cards.

Started implementing this last night - fairly easy to get up and running in HA - and it has a HA specific topic, I'll hopefully complete the move this weekend from Tertius' custom code I was using.

(in the configuration file, it refers to SiteID - or IP address configuration - so it should work with the newer IP150s.

What hardware are you running it on? And how are you connecting it?

HP Microserver - running in a docker container - connecting to my MG5050 via IP150 IP address

Hmm I wonder if the Docker container could talk to a USB > Serial interface easily enough.

Didn’t realise they have a Docker image.

My Microserver may just be close enough.

Running unraid? Had a quick look in the "apps" tab now and can't find it. Did you install it with the normal docker commands?

Used the command in the link - running RancherOS though - want to change to straight Ubuntu - just haven't found the effort, living on borrowed time though, my SSD reports zero life left, for the last couple of months.

Should he able to manually add the container quite easily.

Meant to fiddle with it today but now I’m looking after a sick kid so will only get to it when he sleeps later.

I’m just not sure how easily Unraid dockers will access USB of you need that part of it.
