Home Automation - Smartkit

Go with a sonoff mini. Have done something similar with a 1 button switch. You might need to pull in a neutral wire as most of these types of switches only has a live in and out.
 
Does anybody have the ADT Fidelity secureconnect app? My alarm and gate operated via secureconnect ( sorry secure home ) app.

Wondering how I can connect it to Google Home.

I"m using mostly Tuya Smartlife app and few Ewelink app devices.

Anybody link their IDX adt fidelity alarm system to Home Assistant?
 
I want to add a switch to the pool pump, something like the Sonoff POW R2. On the filter control valve is a port where I currently have a pressure gauge in. Normal operation is 0,5 bar, when the filter is blocked it goes to 1 bar. I was wondering if anybody has hooked up a pressure switch or sensor into HA? Sensors seem to be fairly expensive, while switches are not too bad, but then I will need something to convert that reading into a value that can be integrated with HA. The idea behind this is so that I can get an alert if the filter gets clogged up, so that I can stop the pump until I can go and clean it.

if memory serves me correctly you can set power limits on the POW R2 eg. amps / volts or watts - it's under the OPS menu. so if the pump gets blocked the motor will draw more power - once your preset limit is reached the pump will switch off.

That is interesting thanks, will have to monitor it once the POW R2 is in to see how that correlates to the filter pressure. Will definitely be simpler than adding another sensor.

I had a centurion remote receiver and now added the sonoff SV.

When the sonoff is connected the digidoor does not work. I can hear the relay when I press the button but the motor does not switch on. If I disconnect the SV it works

Both are powered by the garage not sure if that makes a difference.

hi there... i am trying to do the same with the digidoor 3 motor, getting the same result. Has anyone got the SV working with digidoor 3?

Mine works and has been for a while. But for the life of me cannot remember what I did.
 
The lower limit on the POWR2 is a bit finicky on the pool pump. As the pump starts, it usually takes a second or 2 to prime itself and the pump usually draws much lower power until the pump is properly primed and the water pressure rises. If they added another inching rule then it might resolve it but as it stands, my pump is just limited on the upper range.

i've got two water pressure sensors connected to my muncipal mains and my pump storage, both connected to HASSIO. I'm using esphome with nodemcu for the sensors. So when muncipal pressure drops it automatically moves the house over to the pumped storage and back again when the pressure returns. The sensors weren't insanely expensive

i'm using two of these:

i found them cheaper elsewhere (can't remember where but they were out of stock). This should work fine for monitoring the pressure on the pool pump :)

connected them to nodemcu boards

along with

Thanks for the info. I will leave the pool for a bit, there is a lot more I will have to learn to get all of this working. Although thinking about this did give me a good idea for controlling the pump flow between the pool and solar heating pipes on the roof as well, using basically the same components that you have here.
