Those buttons chew batteries. I have 2 different branded ones, one being a Sonoff glass switch and the batteries don't last past 2 months and that is with minimal use.

You did mention 433MHz, hence someone might thing you not looking for switches but RF buttons.
Yeah. Big difference between a switch and a button.

Paid yesterday, got order today.
Was in fact puzzled by courier delivery as all my orders from TA, Amazon etc. only due later in week.
I would not recommend 16A for geyser? I know some do use it but prefer margin of safety.

I agree. I had a 20A dumb relay controlling my geyser and it burnt after about a year. Fortunately I smelt the plastic burning and isolated it. Could have just been a dud relay but I won't chance it again. The connections were still tight when I removed it so it wasn't a loose connection.
That CBI relay rated at 30A will be fine.

If infrared then just get a remote controller like one below. Most popular is broadlink brand ones.

Hi @Tinuva , before you flash the device, would it be possible to confirm if it works with the eWelink app? I'm really not looking for another app to control my HA devices (primarily SONOFF) but the higher current this device handles makes me want one!Currently R472 (advertised as R672) at Liteglo shop. I will see. Ideally I want to ensure I can flash first, because I dont want the device to upgrade and make and take away the opportunity of an easy flash.
The playing will start tonight after work.
FAQ mentions: The CBI Home App is also compatible with Smart Life or Tuya Smart Devices.
So not sure if that means it is compatible with SmartLife/ewelink etc.

ok so the tuya convert didn't happen. It connects to the AP but never loads on to intermediate firmware and I didn't see any obvious issues after checking the logs.
then tried in the ewelink smartlife app, and well either I dont know what I am doing but it didnt work in either the quick ewelink mode nor the compatibility mode.
Will spend more time on it later and also test another device I still have for tuya convert.

Im interested to see how it works out, I know I could just use the HA Tuya integration but Im not a fan of stock firmware.
I think I should order one of these and see what I can do with it.

Its definitely a Tuya device which probably uses the new format that doesn't work in Tuya-convert yet.
Was able to add it in Smartlife Tuya app.
It shows up as an ASC and even the help link on it in the app links to the CBI home page.
So at least do not need to use the CBI Home app.
Next step will be to see how to open it up. Looks possible, even though it also looks well built.
