Yeah for sure there are people who want it here and now.
I was just illustrating that if I need to pay R250 for shipping but I can buy a variety of products from Banggood over multiple places locally I’ll often do that instead.
Sometimes it gets to my door even faster than local.
More often than not if I do import stuff I ask my mates if they want something and just split it out.
Got my T1 3 gang now, looks good. Excited to see how it goes. Still deciding if I have the energy to climb into my ceiling tonight to pull a neutral down to my light.
Just a picture of how it fits into our standard lightswitch wallbox would also be whoresome.
Is the back any different to the touch's. ie clearance issues? Pic of the circuit boards would be nice too.
calypso will test Tasmota on the Sonoff T1 AU/US shortly - this will integrate nicely with Home Assistant if their firmware can be changed. Theoretically this should be possible - but they have just been released.
I'll take some pics of the board and fitting into wall this eve and post it.
Hopefully it fits nicely.
I plan on just running a neutral wire from the closest light fitting down to the T1, should be fine yip?
How do I take the faceplate off? Flat screwdriver into the corners?

Process on how you pull the neutral switch will be appreciated
Happened to me!Well who knows, I may be lucky and when I remove the old light switch tonight there's a neutral wire running in there.
Happened to me!
Removed the glass panel front panel:

Beyond that I'm not sure, there is a little give when I lift up the corners but don't want to pull too hard and tear the thing apart.
Thanks, so we got exposed pins in what i imagine is the standard alignment. Reset key is also there to make getting into programming mode easier.
Dr Zzs has his on the way, so Im sure we can expect a video shortly.

What would be the main benefit of flashing the T1 to use Tasmoto? Would it allow for local control without needing to break out over the internet?
