Ok... I'm gonna ask the stupid question...

Like DrZZZ demonstrates with a single gang switch by wiring it into GPIO14 and GND.. can a similar thing be done with a 4CH and a 3 or 4 gang switch?

I have an uphill battle to fight with the missus who is 100% against the smart home concept so I need to do it without impacting standard functionality.

jirr sounds like you need to trade her in for a more modern model ;)

Im planning to use a normal light switch but wired to the sonoff
I think a bell press switch should work.
Veti has a nice range

Trust me I know..

Fscking Zimbos are backwards....

I even wanted to put a basic IR motion sensor into the bathroom for the lights rather than a sodding switch and that got shot down in flames.
