Nope... I tried already with something else... the fact that it isn't a proper switch is a fscking HUGE problem in her life :(

Yeah I know... which is why I'm more than likely going to skip the 4ch in this solution and work with Basics in the roof...

Still to get the momentary control to the basic is going to mean a long ass cable and low pass filters. Plus all the *** is gonng live in the ceiling so if anything goes wrong you need to crawl in there.

I'm all out of luck at this point... I've moved to vodka :p

Cable wouldn't be that long either.. only from the switch into the ceiling, so maybe 2m...
 
Anyone manage to flash the POW to Tasmota and use it with Home Assist?
Interested to know if I would still get the data usage stats so I can add it to a home assist dashboard.

Yes I have, posted a link earlier. Seems the "current" version still works with SonATA so you can just flash them over the air without any additional hardware.

Not sure what you mean by data usage?
HA has the current wattage, and usage today and yesterday in kWh.

Great news - my pool timer just kicked the bucket, so this would be a good time to get the POW have it flashed and use it with HA.
This really is a rabbit hole of fun/costs!

Going to have to get a backup HA raspberry pi, if it crashes one day I may not be able to even flush after taking a dump.

Oh yes I forgot the voltage and "total" figures which I've disabled.

HA basically automatically graphs everything, grouped by unit type (eg kWh).

One of my POWs is on a 1100W pool pump and working fine.
 
Having a serious pain in the arse problem with my Pi setup - as mentioned previously - keeps going down - can connect through the website, but nothing works. SSH also down.

Going to redo everything on the weekend... maybe try hasbian.

Was thinking of running it on my Gen8 HP server, but its running Windows - and manages all the media in the house, also quite stable - so don't want to stuff with it.
