Any strip light that uses an ARILUX WiFi controller can be flashed with Tasmota.

Oooooh very nice, have been looking for exactly this. Was alternatively going to go the Arduino route but this will be much easier to get something up and running without having to learn ninja skills first

Tx - ended up ordering off aliexpress. R600 for 2x 5m RGBWW, psu, and wifi control module - not sure if its tasmota compatible though as there isn't much detail.

There seems to be a bit of a problem with the permissions.
If your Hass.io is using ssl, the Tasmoadmin tries to download and store the file as https://x.x.x.x:9541/data/firmwares/sonoff.bin, and passes this onto your devices to update giving an ACCESS FORBIDDEN reply.

Mine is working, although not over SSL and not accessible remotely. So I usually just type the IP address to go in.

Using Hass.io on a RaspberryPi 3.

Anyone successfully connected a Pow to a geyser?

I know there were concerns about the low amp rating but I came across this timer that's rated the same as a Pow (16A) and says it can be used for geysers.

I wouldn't even begin to try with that... the amp rating is too low.

Depends on the rating of the geyser element. If it's more than 3kw I would not use a pow

I wonder if any of you can help with my Google Home :

I have 8 x Sonoff device :

1 x Outside
2 x POW
5 x Around the house

Is there any way to group them like this?
So if I say 'Goodnight' - only the 'house' group switches off?

I don't want the POWs to ever turn off ; and I've linked that to sunrise/sunset - so I only want to ignore that ...

Yes - mine know which our outside lights and which are inside - although, I'm running through home assistant.

I just used a basic sonoff and a contractor.
The only thing is you can't see the power that is been consumed.
