That's great. The hub used to be around R1500 there. Unfortunately you can't buy additional CTs and transmitters locally but they are about R400 on Amazon.co.uk.

That will make life much easier.
Without the additional transmitters the extra CT clamps just give you the ability to read 3 phase power. It's a easy mistake to make as the instructions were not very clear.
Sensors inside will be fine. The boxes can kill the WiFi range though. I'd take out the small blank on the right and shift the other larger ones up a bit, then put the transmitter on the outside with double sided tape.

"work" is a relative term ...
Be careful interpreting results from the Efergy, Owl and other devices of the same ilk. Because they use non-contact sensing methods, they don't measure voltage properly (or at all) and - more importantly - the time/phase relationship between voltage and current. Because of this, they can give wildly inaccurate results. The topic has come up often in several threads, eg this one.

Well Tasmo Admin didn’t work to update my Sonoffo Basic and now it’s dead in the water.
Good thing I only tried it on one.
Gives me a reason to break out the tools and do my first manual flash I guess.

Tasmota firmware 6.1.0 is buggy and causes Wi-Fi connectivity issues - even though 6.1.1 came out, users report that 5.13.1 is the last known stable version for now (talking about sonoff Tasmota firmware versions of course). So the problems you describe above could be attributed to firmware currently running on sonoff units rather than Tasmo Admin itself. Good luck!

Yeah, I hastily updated quite a few units to 6.1.0 and now struggle to revive 3-4 of them..... next time will wait a bit longer before upgrading fw......

I was on 5.14 as I recall.
Why oh why I even bothered to upgrade I don’t know because it’s not like there was a feature I needed or anything.
Just couldn’t leave well enough alone.
But in my case I think the OTA failed or rebooted mid update because it’s dead now. No LED, no failover happening nothing.

It works pretty well to show you there the electricity is going, but you will need a few units combined to cover all the high usage devices. In home assistant you can also blend in Sonoff Pow as sensors to cover a few more devices for cheap.
