That's basically what I'm sitting with - the dimmed version is probably 15% darker than full brightness... and since the genius that did our kitchen put 21 down-lights in it - it's like being close to the sun.

Why the mention of the current systems everyone has?
I thought the Konnected replaces all of it and wires in directly?

Im interested in this, was planning on putting 4 in a room with a wifi enabled dimmer switch. Does the dimming improve with more lights?
I could go for 6 or 8 in the same space but wasnt planning to otherwise they will need to be dimmed most of the time.

I mentioned mine, since I do not know if there might be subtle incompatibilities that I might not be aware of (always a possibility with these DIY/hacky setups) and to show that I am aware of the alarm system I have (I have opened it up and is comfortable tinkering with it) and ain't here just for free stuff.

I have 21 in my kitchen, and its just the right level for me... but they're VERY low wattage (3W I think).... so its a nice even light across the whole space.
Hardly dims at all where we have 4 - seems to be better with more bulbs.
Our dimmables are 6.5w
I'm quite keen on getting the Sonoff T1 3-Gang but it has this note:
"Note: this switch must be powered up through Live and Neutral. Most South African houses do not have a neutral wire in the existing light switch"
I have a new house built 3 years ago so hoping the new wiring standards include neutral. If there is a black and red wire then I'm good to go, right?

Not necessarily, sometimes the black is the load and the red is the live. Its a bit of a mixed batch it seems.
The electrician that is doing the work on my build told me that some lights they wire with neutral in and others without depending on location in the house.
You could always feed a neutral down from the lights though or go with a Shelly at a point closer to where the light is and then change the switches to momentary ones.

Unfortunately our new wiring standards do not require neutral.
And no, just the colours of the wiring doesn't necessarily mean you have a neutral, you will need to test the wiring to see which is which.
What kind is that?

Push button, they just connect while pressed, they don't toggle.

There are 2 different Konnected systems.
1st (and original) replaces your current panel.
2nd called the INTERFACE integrates with your current panel/keypad and armed response company module. On the website they list which brands are compatible with this.

I have used nginx in docker, but not for that purpose. Rather have a look at Traefik, its 1000x times easier, and integrates with docker and letsencrypt. Once you have done the initial integration, when you add new docker containers, you just label them and traefik auto reconfigure itself.
Thanks - I'll see what I can find - I already have letsencrypt running for use with HA, I now trying to get a plugin working within HA, and finally realized it's not working because the embedded content is not encrypted.

I can't find the listing of compatible systems but I see it uses much the same keyswitch setup I have now with the SV anyway which doesn't give me any new functionality then.
My deeper need is being able to program zones and also arm for home/bypass etc.

Yeah thats the thing with HA, if you use SSL for anything then you must use it for everything.
I have never used nginx with docker before I use it in production servers as a stream proxy to handle IPv4/IPv6 translation.
