Hi:

I have installed at my house a H.264 Real-Time Standalone DVR: Model PHR04.
It runs perfectly well driving four IP cameras.
Unfortunately I lost my admin password and now I'm unable to change anything.

Is there a way to reset the DVR so that I can have access to the original settings?
Power on/off doesn't do the trick

The company that manufactured the DVR is TIBET SYSTEM however their website is not helpful, neither the product manual.

Many thanks

if you open it, sometimes their is a battery that give power for memory, if you remove it you might be lucky. Similar to the bios of a computer.

Thanks Robert.
I was hoping for something more simple, like pressing a combination of buttons (like a DSTV decoder)

Look for a small opening, match size. If there is stick a paper clip in there and count to 20 ... That's how you typically factory reset a router.

Contact the local Importer to see if they can Reset the dvr, IDS, Inhep Digital Systems. They may charge to do this and you will have to take it into there store.
