I have a TPLink TL-WR840N that is linked up via an Ethernet cable running from my main router in the other side of my house.
the TPlink isnt the greatest (freeby that I got from an ISP at some time, but it did the job when I was in the same room).
I am moving my home office a few rooms away, and the Wifi is obviously weaker.

I want to beef up the Wifi in this side of the house. I dont want more extenders, or to run another cable.
I'd rather replace the TPLink with something meatier that gives me better coverage.

Suggestions?

Just note this doesnt need to connect to the ISP, its just a wifi AP

Thanks!

EDIT: I'm not a network guru, so something simple please :)

sure, but im not looking at a full on change in infrastructure.
right now i just want to pull out a small AP, pop in a bigger AP
