Honda Brio

The are two thing I fine wrong with brio the boot is so small it's not even funny and the glass rear door. But after all small cars got small boot I have seen Picanto, sparks and stops small boot.

None of the above you mentioned. Brio not my cup of tea.

The Brio is comfortable and roomy in the cabin with head room and with enough leg room. It’s a peppy little city car. It's easy to park in the city, light on fuel, fun to drive, and well-specced.

The downside is that the interior quality isn’t up to that of something like a Civic. This is a cheap car and it feels like it, due to the quality of some of the plastics. The boot is a little on the small side. It’s not the most powerful in its class and doesn’t feel as solidly built. The Brio is cheap to maintain. Honda is not necessarily expensive, depends which car model you looking at for example CRV is expansive to maintain.

I would suggest looking at VW UP, Renault Sandero, Hyundai i10 Grand, Suzuki Swift, Suzuki Celerio, Kia Picanto or Ford Figo

Thank you Mia7171 I'm not expecting much from Brio I just need something that will take me from point A to point B. I would look at Hyundai i10 grand and Suzuki Swift. It's first car guys I need something cheap to maintain and I need something new fresh to stand out at the parking when I arrive at work. Too many VW Polo vivo, ford figo etc at work

Vegeta why would you pass at the Honda Brio, I want that thing man for you why you would pass on brio. In terms of safety it got everything you need abs, airbags etc. You guys tell me about others cars but don't tell me why you dislike brio beside the boot. Only one person mentioned the rust and engine. So why would you pass on brio

If you want it then go buy it.

Don't expect other people to make the decision for you.

Test drive them all and then decide for yourself.

I don't see many Suzuki's, Mitsubishi & Citroen & Fiat on the roads compare to other brands. You can have look at those brands if you want something different from the crowd. Toyota Aygo offers offers youthful design appeal.

In my opinion,
the VW Up is the best city car I've ever driven in its class.
I like the Suzuki Swift for its fun factor with good dynamics handling.
The Renault Sandero for generous offer equipment features that's its rival don't offer usually found in more expansive cars such as cruise control, traction control, stability control, hillstart assist hillholer.
and the Suzuki Celerio for its budget value for money car in its class.

If you're are worried about maintenance costs, you can have a look at the following link below by Kinsey Reports 2016 divided into 3 categories, car parts, service costs and crash parts prices. Not all the cars are listed, but you get a rough idea on the Honda Brio and its rivals costs.

The unloved Honda Brio nice peppy city car

Hardly, its an overpriced piece of kark built in India and splashed with a Honda badge.

I drove a few of them and they were all rubbish. The Picanto is a much better car and its still on the rubbish side of things.

Thank you guys for the advice what I get most of you only hate Honda Brio because of it's looks other than that, nobody has told me anything negative about little brio

Well, I'm a Honda owner (Jazz and Bike)

I've had nothing but great service from them. Can't comment on prices because I've never had to replace anything. Personally I think that Brio is a great little car if the looks don't put you off.

Owned a Hyundai before. Never had issues with them either. Only thing I've ever had to replace was a steering wheel that started "flaking". Took about 4-5 weeks for it to arrive but that was about it.

Datsun Go...no. Just no.

Most cars are built in India and splashed with either a Honda, Ford, Hyundai, BMW, Audi, Fiat or Renault badges.

Then this is built in the worst part of the India motor industry...

Quality is rubbish, and car is just rubbish.

/flamesuit on,

as MYBB's have a pathological hatred for this little car.... that Ive never quite gotten to understand......

I have actually driven this car, and know what its like to live with on a daily basis

time for me to weigh in on this,

get the brio, best small car out there hands down,
I drove one, when my picanto was in the shop, did everything and more that you can ask for,

looks aside, if that doesn't bother you get a brio, wont regret it....

I actually had a review on this little car I wrote a while back, if you can find it,

between this and the I10, its all down to preference, the i10 has more supportive seats but the honda has more power.

its all dependent on what you need...

drive one, or if you can find a rental, try that on for size,
but I do think you cant go wrong with that car.....

Dude, don't listen to eg2505, he's a bit not-right-upstairs when it comes to this car as evidenced by calling it the best small car out there hands down...

You guys ever seen a Brio rear-ended? The entire back windshield becomes high-speed shrapnel.

Test drove the unloved Brio the is nothing to write home about. It's small standard car that move you from point A to point B obviously it's a cheap car so you shouldn't be expecting much.

The facelift with black seat got everything you need in a standard car radio&CD player, bluetooth, 2 airbags, abs, seatbelt beep reminder, air-conditioning, heater and a back rear wiper. The brio look small outside but inside it has space the only downside is the boot space it's so small it's not even funny. To fit in my cooler box it's a mission or I have to fold in the rear seats.

Even the first batch of the brio are not bad downside the seat colour beige. What I sense most Honda cars are on upper level so they were expecting that from little brio. So that is why they disappointed the only downside for me about the unloved Brio I would say it's the back other than that the is nothing to complain about. It's a cheap standard car with standard features.

Lol if you think Honda Brio is ugly then I guess you have not seen these cars, Chrysler pt cruiser, fiat multipla and toyota sienta. Those car take ugliness to a whole new level the unloved Brio is way better compare to those cars.

Anywhere thank you all for your advice we may disagree when it comes to Honda Brio but I do agree with guys on VW UP, Hyundai i10 grand, Suzuki Swift and Kia Picanto nice stylish small cars they all special in their own way. God bless
