Honda has given its HR-V eHEV a bit of a facelift
Honda’s bestseller gets a sharper suit and a mild cabin tweak. The 129bhp engine’s still the same, though
You know that mid-size Honda that sounds like a fax machine and looks like an SUV? It's called the HR-V e:HEV, and it just happens to be Honda's best-selling product in Europe. To keep it up there, it's now been given a sharp facelift and a light interior rework.
There’s a new front bumper and grille, with darker light signatures and accents thrown in. And though there’s still a taillight bar out back, the HR-V's been treated to extra lines and curves woven into the body.
It’s a similar approach inside, where familiar traits such as the nine-inch infotainment and seven-inch digital driving cluster remain, but small mark-ups have been made to sections like the dashboard and centre console. Honda's made it more soundproof, too, boasting of a more ergonomic design. Who knew fax machines needed to be ergonomic?
