Honda Mobillio?

I have 2 Hondas (well had, the bike was sold a couple of weeks ago) and their after service is excellent. I am not sure where you are located but Honda Westrand is amazing. They really do go the extra mile. I haven't seen em on the road but heard about it.

I owned a CBR1000 but never used Honda as I bought the bike cash and serviced it myself.

Pretty keen though, not a bad price I think. Thanks for the input guys :)

They were talking about it on the radio last night - Seggy Moodley and Adam Ford - and they really rated it and Honda.

A 7 seater and at a good price.
However a 1.5L engine and GVM of 1700kg might make it a bit sluggish.
Assuming you'd like to make use of the capacity that is.

It's a fat Brio, and based on my experience with that I'd steer well clear.

Would like to know your issues with the Brio please?

I have a R 100k deposit. So will finance about R 100k

Can't think of anything in that range big enough for my family :o 2 Adults, 4 kids. In essence I'll be buying it for R 100k so I think it's worth it yea?

Looks like a lot of car for the money.

Will be painfully slow for the size & weight.

I have a similar opinion of the Brio...

I drove one about 2 weeks ago, and its rubbish. For a new car the handling is crap, the gearbox is crap, the clutch is crap.

If the Brio was R90k new it would be a decent car, but the money Honda want for a new one, you can buy a Kia Picanto which is a much much better car.

The 1.2Brio feels underpowered, it doesn't respond to the throttle very well... the Kia with 1.0l engine is much nippier and responds with much more enthusiasm.

From what I can find out with a cursory search, this car is built on a stretch Brio platform.. so I'd be wary of it myself.

Will look at this on my test drive. Thanks TB

How is the finishing on the interior of the Brio? I'm not expecting a miracle for R 200k, but it should at least be well put together and not have cheap plastic in it like the Hummers :o

It feels cheap, but then I would expect no less.. and it wasn't that bad... I found the Picanto better in terms of interior fit and finish though....

Looks 10x better than a brio.

It's a Brio. The white on the website looks nice, and its proportions don't look terrible, but that's not the issue. It's not how it looks, but how it feels and how it's built. India shouldn't be building cars.

Also thinking of a white one.

Will give feedback after I have viewed the car. Only seen it on the net now. Probably go in on Saturday and take a test drive.

besides the small engine in it, what else is wrong with the Brio? surely not expecting a sports car for the money you pay,
whats important is how little fuel it uses, value for money on features, resale value ect ect....

been seriously considering the Brio for myself, so I really curious to know.

you want a sport car you buy a nissan GTR or if you must a honda NSX or S2000
