I've just spoken to another sales rep and I was told that the self-install 'promotion' runs out at the end of May and they haven't decided if they are going to continue with it. As long as you put the ADSL order in before the end of May then you can still do a self-install.

I would venture a guess that they telling people that the promotion is for a limited time only so that people sign up with them sooner rather than later.

They said the same thing about the free wifi router offer being a limited timed off, so same ploy IMO.
