Hi Guys

We are in the process of moving some of our clients to a hosted exchange environment and from a hosted exchange environment.

Does anyone know if it's possible to keep all your server settings like for instance delegates, shared calendars, forwarding and mailbox rights?

If it's possible how would you do it?

The reason I'm asking is it seems that the companies offering hosted exchange solutions doesn't even know if it's possible.

don't think so, you would have to import some things.

That's right you would need access to their AD to pull that information but wondering if there is a policy in place to do this in Hosted Exchange

"Hosted Exchange" usually means 2 things (depending on the provider and/or the cost/maintenance agreement)

With a VPN = you access a hosted domain controller and a hosted Exchange server.
without a VPN = you access a hosted Exchange box via HTTP (Web Access or Web App)

forwarding, mailbox rights, shared calenders and delegates (send as someone else) are pretty basic features, (my guess is you'll have these in both hosted scenarios).
