Greetings,

I heard from a colleague that Telkom/SAIX has/will be implementing an hourly cap. I have been told that should one exceed this hourly cap, one has to wait until the next hour to be 'back online'.

Has any else heard about this?!? It is true or just another urban legend?!?

Any additional information would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Nicholas

Never heard of it - seems like it would be more effort than it is worth.

it will be bad news for the ISP's and customers....

Since for one ,most ppl get a 5gig or 7gig cap out of a normal 2gig or 3gig account...

Hourly cap might get u a extra 300mb.

Sounds insanely dumb... but wait.... then again.... its Telkom... makes it plausable

:D

I doubt even Telkom could be THAT stupid, but then again history proves otherwise.

I heard that they will be offering a 56kb/s uncapped and unshapped acount over copper ....in 2085. You will apparently be able to apply at your local post office. This giant leap will be taken in anticipation of getting the RwanDastaan world cup chess tournament bid of 2090

ROFLAMAO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
