How can an iPhone be cheaper on contract than its Android equals??

You can drag and drop files between your iPhone and iTunes now, with iOS 4.

Just don't have the strength to go another round with the retarded iTunes software. And the idea that I can't simply drag & drop files between iTunes & my iPhone still cheeses me off.

I also used to hate iTunes but it's really not that bad. The App store is cool.

Personally I don't get all the animosity around iTunes. I think it is a superb piece of software. As a music player it's excellent. The ability to create and burn customized playlists, the ability to search one's music library quickly and efficiently, the ability to customize preferences and categories by which the library is sorted, the built in graphic equalizer to tweak the sound quality outputed, the quite spectacular display of the visualizer, the ability to stream from a wide array of international radio stations... Anyway other than syncing to my iPhone that's what I use iTunes for. There's lots more... I've had to use Nokia's pc suite and if you want an example of a pathetic piece of software, that's it right there...

Yeah, but I hate making playlists...and one thing I figured out about iTunes is that everything gets done via playlists. With Android I can just drag & drop a folder with 500 "mixed" songs, whereas it's mission impossible with iTunes. And what if you want to copy the music back from your phone to your pc? Again it's mission impossible for iTunes. Sies.

November 25th is Upgrade day and I can go for the iPhone or the Galaxy really... I have a work phone (Blackberry) so this is really just a play phone Hmm...

The fact that I have to download quicktime to make it work. The fact that I have to download 100MB at least for every version. The fact that it doesn't work on my Ubuntu. The fact that to put music on my Android phone I just have to plug it into any PC and select "Mount" when the option pops up on my phone and then just copy the files over.

If you check "manually manage music" it makes it a lot nicer in iTunes, drag and drop.

Mind you, I've also heard the KIES software that comes with the Galaxy S is not very good either.

Well except for the odd firmware update if you want to stick to the official way of doing things.
