What Facebook SMS free apps. work sms's in SOUTH AFRICA ?

What other sites offer free sms's in SA?

What about email to sms? this would be FANTASTIC again.
(voda used to years back eg [email protected] - u would put sms in subject box)


WHAT other ways can we send free sms's on the web?

mig33 has PAY sms

I know Voda 20 sms 5 mms (nice) FREE

Cellc MTN offer a few pathetic 5 sms's online

Virgin none. (still a virgin at free sms's online)

a great site is http://wap.defza.com/ simple access the above without the crap.

If it is free then it is probably paid for by advertising and thereby limiting the content to less than a standard sms.

I use a paid service: www.mobisms.com
Starts from a bundle of 200 smss for 5.60Euros. The bundles do not expire and you can send to anywhere in the world at the same cost per sms (some networks do charge 2 of these credits including VodacomSA).

Edit: They offer a web interface to send smss as well as a java app for your phone.
 
Send free sms from magalies.net

Check this out. Works very nice with serveral user friendly functions. Integrate accounts with vodacom, mtn and cellc websites.

I work that out to be around 36c per credit ( as per there website cost of Eur0.028c) and if you are needing to use two for Vodacom then that will be 72c, so not such a saving by my calculations... or am I missing something?

I use them for international and the places I send to use only one credit:D.

Normal international smss are > R1.70.
 
who needs more than 20 a day? (plus 5 mmses?)

Vodacom - Holding the sms carrot infront of people, to make millions. pretty schweet though...
 
Free SMS Service

http://SmsService.co.za... costs R1.50 to join/register (you register by sending as SMS), then unlimited free SMS's (has a 120 character size limit and an advert on the SMS's)...

  • If you abuse the system and the admins catch on, you get banned and can't get back on...
  • If you forget your password you'll need to send the registration SMS again so it'll cost you another R1.50.
  • You can also schedule SMS's up to three months in the future, like send yourself reminders at certain dates and times etc.
  • The service is only online (i.e. SMS's can only be sent) between 06h00 and 21h00.

And for those of you who would want to advertise on those SMS's that's also possible by following this link: http://smsservice.co.za/Advertise.aspx

Hold on, I didn't start this thread... I saw a thread about free sms, so I posted to it because I run a free sms service... I'd understand if I started the thread like "hey ppl, want to send free sms's, here's how"... I simply added an option to the options that other people added, how is that spam?
