How Detectives Deciphered Stuxnet...

I sure hope we don't see Stuxnet isotopes for getting financial info off regular PCs. There's no known protection that'll work, other than disconnecting entirely.

Awesome read.

Would make a good movie if it where not for the lack of climax...

Very interesting but it's a pity that they unraveled the mystery. So the terror of nuclear war by Iran will be assured.

True that...but reading it shows they didn't know what it was for quite some time. And who knows whats in those other 42 or so bytes?! Lol (although what can you do with 40 odd bytes)

Articles like these make you realise you're in the wrong line of work -- i.e. the not epic cool line. However, in this case it is literally so; I would have been the one cursing because the PLCs have been infected. Guess our small plant isn't important enough. ;)

Awesome article.
Just shows how vulnerable we are to cleverly written malware, and don't be fooled that this can't happen on Mac's and Linux (Siemens didn't think their PLC software was vulnerable)- it's just a matter of time and most especially a mattter of whether your machine or data has some value to others...
