How difficult is your job?

my job is ok most of the time.

except mondays: because then baby cries a lot from being spoilt rotten over the weekend and just wants to be in the arms. I cannot carry her everywhere: she needs to crawl and explore the world!

also not nice when they all are coughing/with runny noses :(

besides that: can be interesting at times, especially watching them play and to hear the things they say :D

Nope, but I found it amusing you re-iterating basic conditions of employment act when clearly she was talking about how they can't discuss any content of their work except with the boss. She never mentioned they can't socialize or talk about how horny they are at work nor that it's not allowed, only that they can't discuss anything work related with each other due to the nature.

I then tried to be funny (I do that a lot, you don't know me so I excuse you) by saying she probably works for Telkom as nobody there talks to each other about work either.

Now, back to the reason why I told Picard (who corrected you and probably also had a "WTF is this person quoting the basic conditions of employment act in here??" moment) that the only reason you possibly might need to sight something in a thread unrelated to the law asking people if they find their job difficult and why... is that you want to be right.

Yes. You are RIGHT. Congratulations. You won a noddy badge. But it's not on topic. Not related to Mila's job at all other than to "inform" others that they can't do that. Nor helpful in such a case.

If someone was posting about they suspected their employment contract to be unlawful, awesome, your super lawyer powers would be greatly appreciated and you can be _right_ in that thread. But please don't come in here, a free open public forum, post something off topic and not expect to be made fun of by me.

Seriously dude (or chick, I suspect you're a chick who likes to be right all the time). Take a chill pill why don't you? Yes. You are right. Congratulations. Now move on and read about how difficult others find their jobs.... *popcorn*

Yea my sisters kids starting to talk (I like them more when they understand what you say, the little boy still starting with that). The other one called me a liar the other day when her mom accused her of putting her cup on the wooden table or something, and she said it was me so I told her I saw her doing it. Blegh, they grow up to lie so quickly *tear*

I'm glad though, I now know the difference between a tantrum cry and a real one, and I've seen so many mothers (especially first time ones, you can spot them easy) hear her child cry and then go pick her up. "The height isn't right"

Do you work at a creché?

How do you put up with other people's babies all day? Our own kids can be trying enough at times.

However, if you actually took the time to read moggie's post, you will notice that he mentioned non-disclosure agreements and "other" forms, which if you do not sign/agree to, that you do not have the job.

Non-disclosure agreements (depending on the type of job) is essential to the business and a job opportunity may be revoked due to the employee not willing to sign this agreement. This isn't in contravention of the BCEA at all, but an addition saying that they can't disclose any information to 3rd parties (or work for on of their clients after 12 months of being dismissed) which is perfectly acceptable.

Again. You are right. Awesome. I applaud you. Not many people know the BCEA as well as you do with your super lawyer powers and all.

However. You keep drifting off topic and replying to posts without consideration of what that post might have said in the first place. You immediately assume someone is "breaking the law" and in your attempts to be right all the time (which you are, nobody is disputing that fact so +1 to your ego) making you in fact a little bit wrong.

Even though you're completely right. "Informing" people of the BCEA as it stands to posts of theirs that has no bearing on what you're quoting (which is totally right! good for you!) is still ... welll... wrong.

so there. I said it. You're wrong even though you're right. So now that I've screwed with your reality a bit. How do you feel?

I do catch the final line above me as i type though, you saying something about how you have screwed with my reality. Well sorry, no you haven't, because I can't be bothered to read what you have to say as it is obvious from the outset that you have some personal anger and envy issues and none of this in fact has to do with me, instead it's all about your own feelings about yourself.

If you do not find my posts helpful, then you are welcome to say so. Just try not to be like a 13 year old girl about it please.

What I do involves dealing with VERY difficult clients, almost everything I do can affect a person's life directly, or indirectly. Some of which could mean the difference between life and death!

This specifically made me think of a friend who was recently made to sign a warning letter for discussing remuneration with a fellow employee. I thought others too might have been in a similar situation, hence I mentioned the bcea clause. By then I was off-topic, once again, my apologies for going off-topic.
 
I do not work with salaries but i do have access to it. I also work with the mail.
I’m like big brother. All the monitoring systems.
So how do I discuss this with co workers without them wanting to know more, I rather just keep it to myself., you all know about the office grapevine.

I agree with what was said: 1 for job 10 for working with people.

Anyone working in IT has access to all that information anyway. We usually just laugh behind the people's backs than go "Hey, you are making more money than she is, but it's still minimum wage!" or something to the like.

Office politics bore me. However, I do start some fun stuff whenever I am REALLY bored...
 
I suppose I should say something about my job.

With a hooligan class like the gr. 6E next to my class ... extremely difficult. If ever I lose this job it would be because I "bliksemed" one of the gangster-minded boys in that class.

On a scale of 1 to 10 re: difficulty - 3.
On a scale of 1 to 10 re: stress - 3.
8 hour day - 5 day week

Current project assignment
On a scale of 1 to 10 re: difficulty - 7.
On a scale of 1 to 10 re: stress - 9.
12 hour day - 7 day week


/I'm a "he", not a "she"!!!
 
I like the scale of 0 - 10.

Mentally its not a strain, just a lot of hoop jumping to get what we need.
