How do bikes get busted??

I hope that none of you guys who break the law in this way spend any time moaning about the lawlessness in the rest of the country.

What's with all the bikes with no number plates these days?

Fixed camaras only catch from behind due to the flash that has to go off, only radar and lazer traps are from the front
Fixed cameras do take from the front. Cameras that take from the rear are rare.

they also had it on mythbusters and the only car they could manage to get through without the camera catching them was a rocket car :p

like werner said, they go to alot of trouble ... checking jacket, helmet, bike colour, brake calliper colour, etc, etc ... so the more unique your kit is, the bigger the chance they will find you

Is that enough to legally prove it was you though?

So the camera on the centurion part of the N1 south doesn't point to the people driving towards it? (I noticed they have removed the one on the N1 north)
:p

They removed both the one @ the corner before Botha Ave Turn Off (N1 S towards JHB/Krugersdorp, Faces cars coming from the North-South) and the one just past Lazarus Motor Company (N1 North PTA EAST,Pietersburg. Faces cars going from South-North)

I hope that none of you guys who break the law in this way spend any time moaning about the lawlessness in the rest of the country.

Let's see, going 120 in a 100 zone, not so dangerous. Stopping without notice on a busy road in peek traffic to off load passenger. Very dangerous. Changing lanes without indicating and not even looking. Very dangerous.

Offences able to be caught on camera. One.

So instead of having cops that do their work and stop the more dangerous offences, they sit under trees, drink coffee and only catch speeders which in many cases is the lesser of the 3 evils.

Hey, there are some silly laws out there. You should still obey them. The problem with society is that we are selective about which laws we obey.

For this we pay the consequences:
Take the 4 way stop for example. You should come to a dead stop before moving off in the order you arrived. Peeps don't do this. They should. Their chances of seeing "that other car" would be better.

My perception of which laws to stick to vs the next guy:
At the end of the day you shouldn't be breaking the speed limit and then turn around and complain about the way taxi's drive, or the violent crime affecting us all. Unless you admit that you're also have no respect for the laws laid out by your peers.

When I hear about a guy who went speeding down the "empty" high way on his motorcycle I think to myself, "What a selfish idiot!". Some one else will pay for his contempt of the law.

I have never received a fine on a Bike.

I also don't stop when they flag me down. NO WAY they can cath me.
We'll that day might come where they do catch me, but I figure it's worth the risk. I was chased down William Nicol once going to Sandton. I got thru the traffic fine, I thought he'll have a hard time to get thru, suprised I was when all the cars made way for the bastard

Eventually lost him when I ducked into the Underground parking for Sun International head office. Think it's in Alice Lane... next to discovery.

Disgusting.

How many people's lives did you endanger?

Well put. *applause*:D

I share your sentiment. If we start rationalising which laws to obey and which not, and which "crimes" are ok and which are not, we are not safe to walk the roads....

Either you break the law or you don't - in this case size does not matter.
