How do Mweb boosters work ?

I have a client unfortunately with Mweb -

From what I can see, when the cap is reached there is an automatic booster of 1 Gig which gets billed to her account.

I can't find any way of turning off the automatic top-up as I can with other ISP's.

Am I missing something ?

Yes mweb are the devil and your client should move

Phone em and see, you may sit on the phone for a couple hours but who knows maybe only 30 minutes

AFAIK boosters are controlled via the myadsl.mweb.co.za page, you should be able to turn it off from there.

Turn off boosters

then go the axxess prepaid route. (if you can get an axxess account to work on mweb's routers)...

Your mweb account must look like this. Then boosters won't be automaticlly be bought it will go to local only.
Then you can select buy booster if you need to buy it.
If not you will use your 10GB local if your cap is finished.
