A less complex one today for those who may have found yesterday's a little too challenging (no finger pointing)...

On a scale between one and nine to what degree do you prefer your bread to be toasted?

Post brown bread so I can see. Can't decide on white bread alone which I hardly eat.

If you're not able to extrapolate it yourself might I suggest using a spoon to spread your butter...

I like my toast raw.

My toaster does this if the bread is not ejected in advance..

Busy looking for a new decent 4 slice (side-by-side configuration) white toaster

I can highly recommende this Salton 4-slice toaster (model ST-401 / ST4S-09 )

- it is like two toasters side-by-side, each bank with a separate control.

Do not pay R999 for it as advertised by Homechoice though !

I ordered ours online for R499 + R140 delivery from this place in Newcastle here:

Modern toasters are such garbage. To get for example toast of #7 I have to set my toaster to about a 1. If you set it to 2 you get toast that's an 11. Setting it to 3+ and we're talking nuclear meltdown levels...

Unfortunately I want my toast to be a 6, so now I have to toast it for a bit, take it out, turn it around and then toast it some more while eye-balling it...etc.
