how does nero work

nero is for me the most confusing program.

I dont know which version is which.

you get a 7 essentails, 7 light , 7 ultra. Think there is also a 7 premium.

I search nero but cannot figure out which nero is the bigger better version.

On the forums every one says nero 7 are the better performing one. But there are lots of nero 7 versions.
I like the wave editor and soundbox in nero.
currently uses 7 ultra 7.10. Not very happy with the inferface , confusing for me.
Do any one know of a comparing table.

I use to have roxio 6, the best interface, but then after some windows update it started to malfuntion, then move to nero.

Nero 7 Platinum is still the MOST stable of them all. It does what it was ment to do. I have the 5.1 plugin & so can take a 2.1 avi and convert it to full surround sound DVD by a click of a mouse. This new version just complicate things like Vista did with XP

Nero is great software (the toys you get), but inCd (which Nero runs in the background) messes up your pc badly.

I use InfraRecorder. It does the job brilliantly.
