It's a weird thing that even though I was robbed at gunpoint and had all my equipment stolen from me in June, and my grandfather passed away at 90 around two weeks ago, I still consider this quite a good year personally.
Business is booming like crazy, and I've done/started a few things that I kept putting off, including traveling more and learning the keyboard. Things have been good on a personal level too.

I got engaged, married, and spend 40+ days out of SA travelling for pleasure...
...and it was still one of the worst years on record for me.
Hoping to end it off on a high note spending Christmas in Paris, then on to bigger and better things in 2017.

Its been a good year for me professionally. Outside of that things seem to be trending sideways (e.g. made new friends, lost friends etc). So mixed on the whole, but good platform to start 2017 on I suppose.

Combination of the hardest year of my life and the most rewarding.
One thing I have discovered is that sometimes you have to throw aside everything else and just say "F#@k it. I am going to allow myself to be happy.". Good things can come of this.
