How important is it to wipe?

I prefer to build up my immunity rather than break it down.

lol if building up immunity means other people's "stuff" on their hands on my trolley and on my hands - i'll take my chances with antibiotics and other medicines thank you :)

Humans lived for thousands and thousands of years before "trolley sanitising wipes" were invented, and humans will probably live for thousands of years after the weak are eliminated via their cosseted immune systems.

Wipe away. Wipe away.

The rest of us will be pleased the genetic pool is thus strengthened.

as long as i havent come into contact with someone's feaces on something i touched or breathed before i die at 90yrs old i'm perfectly happy with your conclusion.

its why I also sanitize my hands before every business meeting. The handshake alone can make me
I try not to go overboard though. its a fine line between sanitary and obsessive..

If you know what poop smells like, it's already too late for you.

You obviously do not have children.

Those guys are poo machines.

not a big fan of kids. and i'm always chasing our friends/family children to stop picking stuff up on the road or wherever. Told the 5yr old daughter of a friend not to pick up a cap on the road cause a dog could have peed there, a homeless person vomitted on it or whatever.

What does she do? She picks it up... :wtf:

I know u need to build up immunity but the thought literally turns my stomach. When we got home I washed her hands with Dettol. parents thought it was hilarious lol

I carry a pack of wet wipes and a bottle of hand sanitiser. Who knows who/what touches your door handle while the car is in e parking lot? No I hardly wipe.

All this disinfecting is a bit OTP. You are most probably killing more helpful bacteria than harmful ones.

I watched a short documentary not so long ago about this issue. A university prof asked two people to come to the lab. One was a wheelchair user who used the tube (touching his wheels) and some random woman. The wheelchair guy did not wash his hands, the woman was asked to wash her hands thoroughly with soap and water, and the prof washed with hospital sanitiser. He then tested their hands for bacteria. The wheelchair guy's hands were no germier than the others'. In fact, the prof's hands were the germiest.
