Thats how we feel about our Atos and i10. Its wise to buy a fuel efficient car.

Greetings guys, i would like to know how is hyundai getz on the road, maintenance and fuel efficiency, i need a car but im planning on getting it on forth quarter in the meantime i thought i should gather such info so that i can know what to go for, i would buy the 1.4 thanks
' nuff saif.
You can, the Getz is old, don't buy it. A new i10 is better. If space is a problem just compress everything before loading it into the i10.Surely we cant compare the two![]()
The getz actually holds its value well considering he's buying the facelifted model for R80000 and they use to sell for R99900 when they were introduced. I bought a new one back then for R92000 after discountBtw my only complaint is rapid devaluation. Don't buy a Getz as an investment ...

I disagree would pick the Getz over the new i10.i20 > i10 > Getz > Atos
There you have it. Before you getz a Getz pick an i10.

...the cabin feels nice and solid in this class slightly less plasticy than the i10
Did you see the crash test comparison? Both i10 and i20 are safer.I don't like i10 looks so feminine to me
Its a very old model! It was introduced in 2005 thats 8 years ago! In car terms that ancient. So the devaluation actually seems very good. That's a 20% devaluation already.
Look I think it's a great little car, I had one for 18 months. But when I traded it in it had lost a lot of value. If you are going to keep it then it doesn't matter. But don't expect a good trade in price when you do sell it.

hahahaha sorry about the crash though +1The white one is the ugliest car on the road - it looks nice in any other colour. I took the white as I'm a bad driver (reversed into a wall the first week I had it).
You never buy an i10 for its looks.
I've had the 1.4 and 1.6 as rentals. Seemed like a solid car. Mostly used around Umhlanga and Ballito, the 1.4 battled with the hills. I would look for a 1.6 if I were you.
