Fuel efficiency, the best I ever got was a getz, I think I i driven over 70kms after the fuel light was on. - there weren't any garages and I was in the middle of nowhere.

better than the i20.

Btw my only complaint is rapid devaluation. Don't buy a Getz as an investment ...
The getz actually holds its value well considering he's buying the facelifted model for R80000 and they use to sell for R99900 when they were introduced. I bought a new one back then for R92000 after discount

Even the i10 has less structural deformation than the Getz, compare the A-pillars and you will see.

That's a 20% devaluation already.

Look I think it's a great little car, I had one for 18 months. But when I traded it in it had lost a lot of value. If you are going to keep it then it doesn't matter. But don't expect a good trade in price when you do sell it.

I disagree would pick the Getz over the new i10.
Its bigger and the 1.4 pulls well for its size. Also the cabin feels nice and solid in this class slightly less plasticy than the i10

Its a very old model! It was introduced in 2005 thats 8 years ago! In car terms that ancient. So the devaluation actually seems very good.

Did you see the crash test comparison? Both i10 and i20 are safer.

Yes i did they should be safer as they new models and Getz is safe too and i doubt i will be doing a lot of crashing with the car as i will be driving to work which is 11km away from where i stay so that would be like i will be only be doing 80km/h at the most and you not actually solving the problem i have with the car, that is, it being feminine for my liking

I don't like i10 looks so feminine to me

The white one is the ugliest car on the road - it looks nice in any other colour. I took the white as I'm a bad driver (reversed into a wall the first week I had it).

You never buy an i10 for its looks.

I've had the 1.4 and 1.6 as rentals. Seemed like a solid car. Mostly used around Umhlanga and Ballito, the 1.4 battled with the hills. I would look for a 1.6 if I were you.

Surely 1.6 doesnt battle to chow fuel too, how is it on fuel efficiency?
