I am sitting here and feeling quite stunned.

We sold a person a new car in November last year, just before they drove down to Cape Town on holiday.

On the way back from CT, they had an accident in the Freestate, which resulted in approximately 120 k in damages.

The new car is now sitting at some panel beater waiting to be repaired, so this customer pitched up on our doorstep mid morning today and said that we must give them a loan vehicle as they no longer have wheels.

My initial reaction was to tell them to go and jump as the accident has nothing to do with us, or the reliability of our cars.

I had to stay out of the discussion, and management finally relented and as an offer of goodwill arranged a small Fiat for them to use whilst their car was being repaired. I couldn't believe that they had given in, however, all seemed to be on track until the Fiat was driven around for them to go home.

Blow me down if this woman doesn't walk outside and turn to our driver who had brought the car around, and say "Do you expect me to drive that??!"

Long story short, she flatly refused to drive the car as it didn't have the correct image that she was used to!

And they say that dealers are bastards - may I present a prize t w a t of a customer!!

Say what?

Then damagement have the right to tell her off...

Don't some insurance companies have loaners for their clients?

Hahaha!

Sense of entitlement. I get that all the time with my clients - just because you pay me hourly, does not mean you own me.

so did they upgrade the loan car to something better or what happened? Anyway she had no right at all to ask the dealer for a loan car and I'm surprised that your management gave in

1) Your management are pussies.
2) I would've taken a dump on the pavement and told her she can drive that home, since it's more in line with her "image".

Give her a bicycle with no seat and tell her to ride that.

bitch wanted a 1991 Opel Monza 160 GSi (Car of the motherfking YEAR edition)
