Hi guys,

As the title says. How long are 8ta data bundles valid for? 30 days, 60 days?

I just tested an 8ta sim and I've got HSDPA coverage where I stay, so I'd like to get a 8ta sim, since my CellC is expiring this month.

Thanks,
tera

Valid for the pro rata days of the month in which it was purchased albeit purchased start, mid or end of month. Plus the whole of the following month, till that month's end.

Effectively 2 months if purchased at the start of a month.

Are there any good deals remotely as good as the 60gb special without contract

In other words, 60Gb prepaid deals other than with 8ta?

If dishing out R4499 is a good deal for you, then:

Get a 60GB data SIM Card with 5GB pm x 12 months valid for 365 days for a once-off payment of R4499

Its not as pretty as the previous year, and demands more labola... VC doesn't seem to want to play along, and MTN goes as high as 2Gb, lol...

So the answer is: No, not presently :)

And there is nothing better! 60+60GB valid for one year. Peace of mind:
- no waiting for new monthly allocation
- no OOB charges
- no rollover cheating

All perfect, assuming little bit of discipline and accounting works well.

accounting works well.
And assuming the airtime shows after you paid for it... sigh.

Couldn't they just put the damned money on my account and then go trace the mistake on their own time, first impression sucks...

If you 1 of the fortunate lucky prepaid customer on 8ta and do qualify to receive free airtime for every recharge then the "60gig+60gig" promotion is for you :) Now that is value for money. - Internet for only R10 per gig - on the go but a pity you've to provision the simcard to use "8ta network only".. That is the best promotion out there.

I qualified for free 8ta so recharged for R3600 now have 180gigs+180gigs

I live in the sticks, so I wouldn't be able to use 8ta's network, since it's not here. I also don't have the cash right now :p ;) :D

Everyone has that type of cash on plastic cards :p Edgars/Woolworths :P Plastic money buy now pay later with interest.

Sorry to hear that you are unable to access 8ta network - you can always relocate to the suburbs if you like but you must watch your back they might just mug u :P Joking mate.
