Try drinking less beer - that exercise might actually be worth something then.
I am a tall chap, left matric weighing 112kg, no fat on me back then...... My point being that if need to exert myself, like climbing sand dunes and I am with my peers, they are all beer consumers of note and of similar age, they tend to be puffing and panting climbing the dunes, whereas I can easily do it, with my four year old offspring on my shoulders and I am not lost for breath...... So I look portly and tall, but somehow , inside I am quite fit, Much to my younger brothers annoyance, I don't suffer blood pressure problems or have high cholesterol, although I am on medication for gout, (an after effect from four years of homebrew)......
