Apple vs Google vs Facebook — this is who tracks the most personal data types

Google tracks the most personal user data types of the world's big five tech companies, according to an analysis performed by StockApps.com.

The analysis used data from Digital Information World to compare the categories of personal data that Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, and Twitter collected from users of its products.

A drop in the ocean of what is really being tracked on Internet. Google, Facebook, Apple, Twitter are all small fries who are coincidentally being monitored. The big data trackers are not even known.

Already sold my soul to the devil, started with Android then added Apple a few years back.

I am still using both Android and iOS. I knew what I was getting myself into with Google so no surprises there.

I agree with this sentiment as long as you use software by the big tech giants forget about privacy. If you truly care about privacy use Linux on a disposable flash drive and buy a phone that runs a Linux/privacy-focused fork of Android the type the feds use. I also came across these threads that seemed interesting:

They should do an investigation and article about the data being tracked by TikTok and Discord.

And how much are they able to collect if you block trackers? This seems to be the default direction browsers are taking as there's simply no purpose to them.

Exactly. All these data stealing articles are always about US companies.
Chinese companies are worse.

Only when it comes to software. Hardware it's the opposite.
