How MTN is saying sorry for its massive data downtime

That's not saying sorry, that's just supplying what people paid for!

Thats insulting, 1 GB for 1 hour?

Look at what that Australian network did the other day, unlimited usage for the day...

Seriously MTN. In that case go %#$#$ your self, in a few short sentences, you managed to tell me exactly how much you care about your clients nothing. Was without service out in the middle of &^^%$^ nowhere for 24 odd hours, where not even an emergency call could be made during that time, what if I had some medical or life threatening emergency.

You thank my loyal support for the past 15 years with, whoops here is an hour of our time.

Seriously....if it's weren't for your service being the only 1 providing 3G I would have been long gone.

Thanks

Sincerely

Pissedoff client

hahahahahahaha the picture of the bus, people falling off bicylces kills me big time. Admin, you are the best!

i feel sorry for MTN. in this day and age, people buy service and reputation matters! people dont want to be associated with negativity. they have been on the headlines only for bad things. that's not good for any business.

and the thousands of rands in lost revenue cause customers cant be contacted or data could not be used , 1 gig of data for an hour is not going to do anything

That's a sweet thought ngwenyas :)

Many of us can't leave MTN even if we want to - if they're the only ones with a signal.

“We remain committed to providing you with a distinct customer experience which you have come to expect from MTN.”

Thanks, but we've had enough of that already.

Out of interest, what areas are you guys in that do not have Vodacom signal? And is it just data, or data and voice?

And, hip hip hooray, I got my my Vodacom sim today. Waiting for my number to be ported. I was an MTN customer for 14 years - from my very first year after high school.

Rural area, there is edge available, telkom piggybacks on MTN's network, but they were down as well for some reason. Cellc piggybacks on vodacom here, both only have edge and sketchy at best, dropped calls, or no signal on weekends even on weekdays.

What a joke, but this is expected as none of our service providers give a damn about their customers!

You must be joking.

This isn't a sorry.

This is a slap in the face.

Oh MTN. Cell C will overtake you it seems soon enough.

“Compensation will be awarded to affected customers that purchased an MTN 1 Day data bundle during the past two days that have not utilised these bundles due to the network outage experience,”

I basically had no phone for 2 days.

Really now.
