How was the cutting down for you? Remember those headaches?I used to drink upwards of 14 cups a day.
Now I am down to one or two.
I find that with coffee, but not tea. Probably has to do with the L-theanine, and smaller caffeine content.Yep, that's why I no longer do caffeine. Man it sucks to have to feed an addiction. Also, caffeine makes you slow.
I used to hit that slump / withdrawal with coffee. With tea, I can miss my tea for the day and not have any negative effects. Honestly, tea is a different game in my experience.Here's the fascinating study of how it actually affects performance negatively:

It's not the having coffee that affects you negatively, it's the being addicted and the between cup slumps that does. You now have to have coffee to keep up with the rest of your peers.
