Bitcoin just dropped in the last 3 Weeks. Some at first made a lot on Bitcoin so I guess it is win lose situation. I think it is about with 8K now But I will rather not buy Bitcoin

I am not actually sure, I find it hard to think something that is digital can have a value say greater than gold which is physical. While I understand the hype, I have not taken part and don't feel left out as a result. It will eventually crash and level out to something more reasonable, when that will happen is anyones guess. If you got in when it was low and a reasonable price, then great, even if you got when it came down in the trouph, great but do be careful.

Considering the possible applications of a decentralized network like blockchain, and the current energy it needs to keep everything alive: I'd say that if the price is not high enough, it can't be sustained and might as well be worth nothing

Best case less than $1500 if you consider the manipulations that have been exposed.

Practically speaking it's probably less than nothing though. Unless it is used purely as a low transaction volume means to securely move funds around. Think... Bulk transfers between major banks. Any high transaction volume applications will require too much energy.
