What the title says really. Sandown to Woodmead.

With Telkom, you can never really be sure :) but I've had my ADSL line moved twice in the past three years, and both times there was no charge.

Well I will get an install where I am currently staying and see what happens when I move

I'm also moving in a month or two - so will let you know :) Its only down the road but knowing telkom they will say that area doesnt support dsl!

prolly charge you the normal fee of 400 rand install, if your moving much further away you'll have to apply for a new line

they shouldn't charge you anything. moved twice in the past 1.5 years and never been charged. make it as clear as day, preferably in the persons native tongue that it's a transfer. Crystal clear.

Is it quicker moving your ADSL? Or does it take about the same time?

As much as they want...

but it's usually faster to apply for a new service and wait the 3 - 6 months for it.

as soon as you know where you are moving to, place that order as a transfer and get the ball rolling. Hopefully by the time you move in, you are far enough up the cue that they start calling for a technician to come or get the self install going. give it a few weeks.
