How much load shedding costs SA

Dont blame human error for R7.5 billion rather blame eskom and the ANC error

Well that is human error, the organizations aren't run by AI.

This is how the next year will be april price hike -> August price hike -> December price hike, to cover mismanagement and governments stupidity.

The resolution/temp we should be implementing is all non paying municipalities (under a certain 85%) should be loadshedded stage 3a/3b while paying municipalities stage 1, and ANC should not interfere with matters above their IQ.

Another issue is the fact that government should publicly apologize for this as its majority of the problems we are sitting with are due to their money grabbing paws on basic facilities which needs to be dealt by non government entities.

Treat Eskom like a business not a political standing point, and we will have a better chance of seeing the light.

Any extremely critical system should be well designed and managed to properly account for all scenarios of possible failure especially human error....

The negative impact of all the numbers is staggering - to the point where we are numbed and don't even feel adequate levels of outrage any more.

The problem with this line of argument is that paying people get loadshedded. Rather permanently loadshed all non-paying groups of people but the ANC won't do that to their voter base.

Nee man Willie! Praat liewers Afrikaans as jy sukkel met die Ingels man!

It is quite amazing that Eskom is telling its customers to use less of its product. Between customers using less electricity and load-shedding Eskom is now getting less revenue. Now that Medupi and Kusile power stations are hopelessly behind schedule which is costing Eskom and the economy billions of Rand monthly. Now when these power stations eventually fully come on line will they be problem free! And if or when there are problems, whose heads are going to roll. So now since Eskom has now painted themselves into a corner, they are now going to scream up their rates, so now the over burden Joe public will now foot the bill. I was horrified to see the info graphic in the article, I just can’t visualise those figures. It’s crazy to see how much of our tax money is being wasted.
I assume Jayzee will make an announcement in the state of the nation address that he will be increasing Taxes. WTF.

The EFF clown Malenema had it right. If Zuma had "paid back the money" SA could have had a few more power generation facilities
