This is subjective. Most people usually adapt depending on what they earn and make the lifestyle changes. Going from higher to lower salary is tough though.

A R100 000 per person / month will get you good security, some electricity, medical care, trasport and insurances.

Anything above R100 000 and you can emigrate.
